Inspiration
Jazz, with its rhythm, warmth, and improvisation, has always been my favorite genre—it feels alive, full of stories and emotions. The melodies and harmonies spark creativity, reminding me that art, like jazz, thrives in freedom and expression.

Historical Context
For this project, the foundation lies in the grandeur of Victorian fashion, a period defined by intricate tailoring, rich fabrics, and dramatic silhouettes that spoke of both social identity and artistry. The Victorian era was a time when clothing was more than appearance—it reflected values, class, and the spirit of an age captivated by progress and tradition.

Jazz Culture
Jazz is more than music—it is a culture of freedom, rhythm, and soul. Born from African American communities in the early 20th century, jazz carries the spirit of improvisation, storytelling, and connection. Its melodies and rhythms capture both joy and struggle, making it a timeless inspiration for artists to create, innovate, and express emotion beyond words.
