Carol of the Bell
As a production designer specializing in theatrical aesthetics, I create artistic masks from reclaimed materials, transforming overlooked objects into dramatic pieces. This debut mask for my brand 'Golden Carnation' draws inspiration from 'Carol of the Bells,' merging traditional Christmas motifs with theatrical design elements.
Carol of the Bells is a timeless tale rooted in Ukrainian folklore, symbolizing hope, joy, and togetherness. It’s a story of harmony brought to life by a magical bell, spreading warmth and unity during the holiday season. Through this work, I aim to demonstrate how discarded materials can be elevated into wearable art that captures the essence of theatrical storytelling.
